PROGRAMME MESSAGES
If you wish to place a message for your child/children in our 2010 Programme they need to be handed in to Helen Bradley by the family fun day on 5th June 2010 at the latest. Helen will be at the field on the opening day with a designated table. If you are a new player and have not placed a message in the programme then find Helen on opening day and she will be pleased to help you!. Last year's programme, sponsored by A Local Printer Ltd of Storrington, looked fantastic. If you woulld like to see a copy, then please ask Helen. Remember to order your baseball pants and socks for the 2010 season. These can be obtained via Debbie at debra.cannons1@btinternet.com

Announcement 21st April 2010
HJBC Baseball 2010 starts the week of the 26th of April. Practices will be starting at 6:00 PM and the structure will be like this.
We will be practicing on 4 days (Monday - Thursday)
Mondays - Red Sox, Tuesdays - Yankees, Wednesdays - Mets, Thursdays - Athletics
Shetland/Pinto's 6 PM - 7 PM (Pinto Field)
Mustangs 6 PM - 7 PM (Mustang Field)
Bronco 6 PM - 7 PM (Bronco field)
Pony 7 PM - 8/8:30 PM (Bronco field)
We have had to remove Fridays as this became a problem regarding pitching and throwing the ball a day before a game for pitchers. This is also the case regarding the many members we have whom participate in Scouts on Fridays.
We have removed the Cubs from our team list and now the Mets will be practicing on Wednesdays.
Each team will have 15 kids per team to accommodate the teams for when we are on holidays and other wonderful things that come up during the summers.
We NEED HELP BUILDING THE FENCES FOR THE FIELDS this Saturday. We will be there from 11 AM so please just show up and give us a hand.
Coaches will receive last seasons roster emailed to them on Wednesday (tonight). Hopefully a practice book will be in the UK (stupid volcano) so that we can have handouts for the coaches. Draft Day will commence on Saturday starting at 10:00 AM at Ingfield Manor. Times are
10-11 AM Shetland/Pinto
11-12 PM Mustangs
12-1 PM Bronco and Pony
This will allow all coaches to contact the kids on Sunday to inform them of the days of practice.
Please be on time as there is a lot to go through.

Get your forms in ASAP before Friday to get onto a team before we fill up
I'll be sending out a confirmation to all coaches regarding whom (which team) they will be coaching. If you’re interested in helping coach please let us know now. If you want a specific team or night, let me know ASAP.
There will be another email out tomorrow regarding our referral program and who's leading the race for the £100.00 baseball bat.

2010 REGISTRATIONS Everyone who has played before or shown an interest to play baseball, will be receiving a 2010 Registration Pack in the post mid February. The forms are also available to download from the website on the Forms Page, along with the sponsorship package and 2010 flyers/poster.
